Hello everyone! I know I've been on a really long hiatus, but with good reason! High school is pretty frustrating, especially as I start approaching senior year, but at any rate, I thought I'd get right back into blogging because it helps me feel better, and in addition, it may bring happiness to who reads! At any rate, I've been great, and I hope you all have been too!

But, now that's out of the way, so let's talk anime! I don't know how many of my readers actually watch anime, but it's GREAT. I understand the whole stigma or whatever around watching it too, since I've been there before, but I definitely recommend giving it try, especially if you're looking for really good stories! I'll most likely make a blog post about that in the future...

This brings me to the show I'll be reviewing today, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. This is BY FAR my all time favorite anime, and I've been itching to share with you all (or literally anybody I pass by 😁😁)

                                 Story

Here is a quick summary from myanimelist.net:

In the year 2010, the Holy Empire of Britannia is establishing itself as a dominant military nation, starting with the conquest of Japan. Renamed to Area 11 after its swift defeat, Japan has seen significant resistance against these tyrants in an attempt to regain independence.

Lelouch Lamperouge, exiled prince of Britannia, unfortunately finds himself caught in a crossfire between the two nations' armed forces. He is able to escape, however, thanks to the timely appearance of a mysterious girl named C.C., who bestows upon him Geass, the "Power of Kings." Realizing the vast potential of his newfound "power of absolute obedience," Lelouch embarks upon a perilous journey as the masked vigilante known as Zero, leading a merciless onslaught against Britannia in order to get revenge once and for all.

It's an incredible story of clashing ideologies, and whether the "ends justify the means". It's such a good and entertaining rebellion story, with really compelling characters.

                    Characters

Lelouch Lamporouge is the protagonist of Code Geass, and the one who leads the rebellion against the Britannian Empire in order to liberate Japan from their tyrannical rule, under his secret identity, Zero where he also leads his terrorist organization the Black Knights in their goal to destroy the Britannian Empire. He is incredibly intelligent, and great at tactical strategy. His main goal is to create a world where his blind sister, Nunnaly, can live peacefully, free of worry from Britannia. Although Lelouch is very calm, he can lose control sometimes, which never fails to put a smile on my face.

Suzaku Kururugi is Lelouch's childhood friend before Britannia took over Japan. Now all grown up, he has joined the Britannian military, and piloting his knightmare robot, the Lancelot, he goes toe to toe against Zero and the Black Knights, (Zero's Terrorist Organization) all without knowing that Lelouch is Zero! Trust me, their interactions will have you at the EDGE OF YOUR SEAT!!😁😁😁😁😁

This show has incredible pacing, and story direction, and it will always leave you wanting more, I highly recommend this anime for anyone new to anime in general, and looking for a GREAT story!

Thank you SO MUCH FOR READING, especially since I've been off for so long, but I'll be giving you all much more stuff so stay tuned! I'll see you all in the next one, PEACE✌️.
